Were you at PiCH for Link and Drink? If not, you missed out. We had a great time socializing, making connections, and getting great information from the NYC Department of Small Business Services about the resources available to, not just small businesses, but Black-owned businesses.
Hereās a brief breakdown:
Business Courses - Develop your business plan and get guidance on the right strategy for your business. Learn computer-based bookkeeping, how to master marketing, what it takes to get to sell to the government, and much more.
Legal Assistance - Access our network of pro bono attorneys who can answer all of your legal questions. Theyāll guide you and help you consider a legal structure, trademark your products and services, and review your contracts or business lease.
Financial Assistance - Secure the financing you need. Weāll help you identify alternative lenders and package your loan application so that you can operate or expand your business.
We also want to thank Rawle Brown of the Pace University Small Business Development Center for sharing information with our attendees. You can visit their center for in-person workshops and webinar trainings, secure industry and customer demographics and financial data, and meet with business advisors to discuss your business goals and develop and action plan.
